For security purposes, the download link in the eDelivery email expires after 48h or 3 clicks, whichever happens first. After that the user is presented with a message indicating the link has expired and gives them an option to request that the email gets resent. The same email is resent immediately with a new link to the download page that will have the same security measures as the original ( 48 hours or 3 clicks).
