Pink Slips (also called eSlips) are electronic proof of insurance issued for a single vehicle under a valid Personal Auto policy or a Commercial Auto policy with a named contact.
These slips confirm that a specific vehicle is insured and can be printed, downloaded, or added to a digital wallet. Pink Slips are supported in most Canadian provinces.
Requirements to Generate a Pink Slip
To generate a slip, the following information must be present in the system.
Policy Requirements
The policy must:
- Be active (not expired or cancelled)
- Be a Personal Auto or Commercial Auto policy
- Include valid liability coverage
Vehicle Requirements
The vehicle must:
- Include Year, Make, Model, and VIN
- Be linked to the correct policy
Contact Requirements
- The contact must have a First Name and Last Name
- Be located in a valid Canadian province
- Have Canada set as the country
Note:
If any required policy, vehicle, or contact information is missing, the slip will not be generated.
