(New) Campaigns Interface

Pathway’s redesigned Campaigns interface provides a more user-friendly experience, making it easier to create, manage, and track all your email campaigns. The new layout clearly separates Manual emails, Flows, and Legacy Flows, helping users quickly understand which type of campaign to use.


 

 

Accessing Campaigns

  1. Log in to Pathway
  2. Click Campaigns in the left-hand navigation menu
  3. Use the search bar, folder filter, and status filter to locate campaigns quickly

In the top-right corner of the Campaigns screen, you’ll see three options:

  1. Manual
    • Used for one-time, manually scheduled emails
    • Ideal for newsletters, announcements, or special promotions
    • You select the recipients and send the email immediately or schedule for a future time
  2. Flows
    • Automated campaigns triggered by Contacts, Policies, eDocs, Activities or Claims
    • Pre-renewals, eDelivery, Billing Notices, Welcome campaign, Cross sell, Online review etc. 
    • Each flow progresses automatically based on triggers, reducing manual effort

       
  3. Legacy Flows
    • Represents campaigns created in the previous version of Pathway’s automation system
    • Maintained for historical data and older campaigns, but new campaigns should use Flows for better functionality

Creating a New Campaign

  1. Select the type of campaign: Manual, Flows, or Legacy Flows
  2. Click Create
  3. Fill in campaign details (email content, recipient lists, scheduling, and tags)
  4. Save or send based on your campaign type:
     
    • Manual: Schedule or send immediately
    • Flows: Configure triggers and steps
    • Legacy Flows: Follow existing setup if modifying an older campaign

Monitoring Campaign Performance

  • Status Column: Shows if a campaign is Draft, Sent, or Active
  • Open Rate: Percentage of recipients who opened the email
  • Positive/Negative Feedback: Emails that got Delivered VS Bounced/Deferred
  • Created Date: Quick reference for when a campaign was created

Common Issues / Troubleshooting

  • Cannot send manual email: Ensure a recipient list is selected; manual campaigns require at least one list
  • Flow not triggering: Check that triggers are active and conditions are correctly configured
  • Legacy flow not editable: Only minor edits are allowed; consider migrating to a new Flow for full functionality
  • Stats not updating: Refresh the page; it can take a few minutes for metrics to populate after sending

FAQs

Q: Can I convert a Legacy Flow to a new Flow?
A: Not directly. You will need to recreate the sequence in the Flows interface to take advantage of new automation features.

Q: How do I schedule a Manual email?
A: After creating the Manual email, select Schedule and choose the date and time for sending, assuming that you created the appropriate list in Contacts.
