Billing & Contact Overview

How Pathway Billing Works

Pathway charges based on the number of unique, valid email addresses integrated into your pathway.

We integrate your entire database; however, you can inactivate contacts you do not want to communicate with through Pathway (e.g., prospects, lost clients, specific branches).

  • Inactivated contacts remain visible in Pathway.
  • They appear greyed out.
  • You are not charged for them.
  • You cannot send emails to them.

Risky Emails

What Are Risky Emails?

Risky emails include:

  • Missing email addresses
  • Invalid email addresses

Pathway does not charge for risky emails.

We aim to minimize risky emails by:

  • Providing a report during onboarding
  • Asking brokers to correct data

All contacts VS BMS Sync list

All Contacts - Used for billing

  • Counts unique email addresses
  • Includes only active contacts (active status in Pathway, not policy status)
  • Determines what you are charged for

BMS Sync List - Not used for billing calculations

  • May include duplicates
