How Pathway Billing Works
Pathway charges based on the number of unique, valid email addresses integrated into your pathway.
We integrate your entire database; however, you can inactivate contacts you do not want to communicate with through Pathway (e.g., prospects, lost clients, specific branches).
- Inactivated contacts remain visible in Pathway.
- They appear greyed out.
- You are not charged for them.
- You cannot send emails to them.
Risky Emails
What Are Risky Emails?
Risky emails include:
- Missing email addresses
- Invalid email addresses
Pathway does not charge for risky emails.
We aim to minimize risky emails by:
- Providing a report during onboarding
- Asking brokers to correct data
All contacts VS BMS Sync list
All Contacts - Used for billing
- Counts unique email addresses
- Includes only active contacts (active status in Pathway, not policy status)
- Determines what you are charged for
BMS Sync List - Not used for billing calculations
- May include duplicates
