How to Update Email Content, Design, or Merge Tags in a Campaign Flow

This article explains how to update the wording, design elements, or merge tags within an email that is part of an existing campaign flow.

Step 1: Access the Campaign Flow

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Navigate to Campaigns.
  3. Select Flows.
  4. Locate the relevant campaign flow.
  5. Click on the campaign name to open it.

Step 2: Pause the Flow

Before making any changes, pause the flow to prevent emails from being sent during editing.

Step 3: Edit the Email Design

To make changes to the email:

  1. Click on the email within the flow.
  2. Select Design.
  3. Click Edit Design.
  4. Review and acknowledge the disclaimer that appears, which advises that all emails in the flow may need to be reactivated after changes are made.
     

Step 4: Save Your Changes

  1. Make the necessary updates to the email.
  2. Click Save and Close to apply your changes.

Important Notes

Please review the following important considerations when updating emails in a campaign flow:

  • Emails must be updated individually. If you update one email in a branch, the same email in another branch will not be updated automatically (for example, an email sent after an email address has been corrected).
  • After editing emails, each updated email must be reactivated.
  • Once all edited emails have been reactivated, you must also reactivate the entire flow to resume sending.
