Which merge tag to use for Edocs and which one for PinkSlips

When you are setting up your eDelivery workflow to send policy documents and/or PinkSlips to your customers, you have to set a merge tag on the documents download button in the email template. Pathway offers a couple of different merge tags you can choose from, which allow you to select which documents and PinkSlips will be delivered to your customers.

Below is a list of all available merge tags and the policy documents and PinkSlips they deliver to the customer:

  • {|email:|epinkslips|} - includes all policy documents and all PinkSlips.
  • {|email:|edocs|} - includes only policy documents specific to the policy filters applied to the customer segment related to the eDelivery workflow, and no PinkSlips.
  • {|email:|edocs_and_slips|} - includes only policy documents specific to the policy filters applied to the customer segment related to the eDelivery workflow, and all PinkSlips.
  • {|email:|filtered_pinkslips|} - includes only PinkSlips specific to the policy filters applied to the customer segment related to the eDelivery workflow, and no policy documents.
  • {|email:|filtered_pinkslips_and_edocs|} - includes PinkSlips and policy documents specific to the policy filters applied to the customer segment related to the eDelivery workflow

To apply one of these merge tags follow these steps:

  1. Login to Pathway, navigate to Automated emails and open the email in the eDelivery workflow you want to edit in the email editor
